Warehouse Live/Work Insert

Defining

Situated within the new Shoreditch of the East, literally a stone’s throw away from the London Olympics Site, this warehouse live/work apartment has once been a ……… The area is buzzing with creativity and like-mindedness which I was fortunate enough to be experience.

In part the project which was to start to define my signature ‘style’. The context of warehouse was respected and still clearly evident. The part ‘inserted’ was not only space itself, but it defined the space around it. It was carefully and interestingly detailed/ different, given respect to the activities of living and relaxing; whilst the remainder of the space is for work. The project was built by me on a shoe-string budget, which means the materials where affordable, interesting and not disrespectful.

The place has matured and adapted though-out last almost 10years, as is illustrated on pictures, however without losing the original intent.
